Digicode’s “transparent” business model allows for greater control for igaming operators according to the company’s igaming Executive, Itai Zak.
Speaking to Christian Lee, Business Journalist for GamblingTV, Zak said: “Digicode doesn’t work on a revenue share model, which means we don’t want a cut in our partner’s business.
“We believe in a very transparent and fixed structure of cost, which fits to each and every type of business and allows them to plan exactly how much the cost of the service will be.
“Another very important thing that Digicode differentiates itself from is that the client retains full control over the development, the source code and the IP. Unlike the rest of the providers in the industry, where you are part of a central system, some of the things you are asking your provider to develop will go and find themselves in some competitor that sits on the same platform.”
“Some operators are afraid to innovate and they’re afraid to ask for innovative features because they’re afraid that this feature will find themselves in the same system used by their competition.”
Digicode Integration Hub
Central to Digicode’s offering is its Digicode Integration Hub. As an aggregator, Zak explained that Digicode aims to be a “one-stop-shop solution” for the igaming industry, facilitating operators receiving “content from multiple providers via a single integration and single API”.
Zak also spoke about how the integration hub helps operators overcome some of the challenges they face.
He said: “We saw that our clients are facing several challenges. Some of them might have a very outdated platform which is not flexible and not highly-customised. This is preventing them from innovating, from moving fast and from implementing changes quickly. Digicode knows how to upgrade and modernise such platforms and gain back flexibility.
“Game providers, for example, they’re under pressure to provide more and more content and also to certify each and every jurisdiction to make sure that they comply with each and every regulation, this requires lots of effort and lots of overhead.
“Digicode is allowing them to extend their product development production lime by taking the games and helping them in the localisation of the games for different markets and by certifying them to different jurisdictions.”
Additionally, Zak added that the hub can provide “smooth, fast, and seamless integration” between operators and third-party providers, such as content, payments, and marketing providers.
