Earlier this month, the Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine province of Santa Fe approved the regulatory project for online gaming and sports betting.
Following a day of debate, which saw 38 votes in favour and six against, this regulation, promoted by deputy Fabian Bastia and first introduced by his party colleague Marcelo Gonzalez, has now been sent to the Senate in order to obtain full approval.
Yet, what does this regulatory project include, what impacts will it have if approved by the Senate and how does it compare to Argentina’s neighbours Brazil, who are currently going through a similar process?
This will be the topic to kick-start the week on iGaming Daily, where James Ross is joined by Fernando Noodt and Isadora Marcante.
