DraftKings Co-founder, Matt Kalish, and Chairman of VaynerX, Gary Vaynerchuk (GaryVee) united for the latest episode of Props and Drops, discussing a host of subjects from human morals, face tattoos and the potential of ‘a winter’ for NFTs.
GaryVee emphasised that the current period for NFTs is not ‘a real winter’, something he believes will arrive in the future, as he praised the current climate of tokens.
The pair moved onto the landmark sponsorship deal which has seen the Staples Center, the home of the LA Lakers, sell naming rights to Crypto.com, a deal which led to the panel discussing how much they would need to be paid to get their face tattooed.
Discussions inevitably turned to hoops as GaryVee predicted the New York Knicks can make the playoffs, in spite of a tricky start to the season.
It comes as the Lakers head to the Big Apple to take on the Knicks, a clash that both GaryVee and Kalish were extremely excited for.
The panel then shifted discussions to the Celtics, with Kalish praising the ‘supporting cast that have become the main event right’, specifically praising the performances of Robert Williams.
Nonetheless, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum remain at the forefront of everything that the Celtics are doing well, both top scoring in their victory over the Raptors.
Music icon Steve Aoki then joined the show as he shared his strategy to music and how ensures he stays relevant to new audiences.
The trio then analysed the token market and why hard work and persistence transcends into the NFT market.
