Ep 181: New York teases fresh online casino bill

We’re in a New York state of mind in the first half of today’s episode of iGaming Daily, sponsored by Optimove as late last week, the concrete jungle once again introduced legislation with a hope to legalise online casinos in the Empire State.

Put forward by Senator Joseph Addabbo, the 2024 bill is said to be similar to the one submitted last year, with a slight few changes.

Joining James Ross to talk through this bill and what it might mean for online casino in New York is CasinoBeats Editor, Joe Streeter and Jessica Welman, Editor of SBC Americas.

Then in the second half of the podcast, we’re flying over to Africa with the African Cup of Nations football tournament underway as Kieran O’Connor will join us to discuss an article he produced for Insider Sport on how brands will use the potential of the tournament to their advantage this year.
