bet365 has continued its US expansion by launching sports betting and igaming in Pennsylvania’s online gaming market.

The operator received approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) and announced on social media that it was live in the Keystone State on Monday (July 22).

This latest launch marks the 11th state for the British-based firm and it is the first sportsbook brand to launch in Pennsylvania since Fanatics transitioned from PointBet in January.

“With a venerable history saturated with numerous championships, intense rivalries and legendary athletes, Pennsylvania’s sports passion is undeniably Never Ordinary,” explained a bet365 spokesperson.

“We enthusiastically welcome new and eligible bettors from Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and the entire Keystone State as they join the bet365 experience, which features market-leading offerings like amazing Bet Boosts, the fastest In-Game product, and unique Same Game Parlays.

Bet365 gained market access in Pennsylvania through a partnership with Presque Isle Downs & Casino, a subsidiary of Churchill Downs Incorporated.

On the partnership, Gary Hendricks, Vice President & General Manager of Presque Isle Downs & Casino, said: “We are looking forward to our partnership with the world’s largest online gambling company. Bet365 will bring a unique betting experience for online gamblers throughout all of Pennsylvania.”

According to bet365, it will bring a raft of sports betting offerings including competitive sign-up bonuses, a robust same-game parlay offering and a large variety of best boosts, as well as live dealers, online slots and table games, video poker and more in its virtual casino.
