Having a feature-rich product is essential for any sportsbook provider and that is no different for Altenar.
Speaking to Ted Orme Claye, Editor of Insider Sport and Payment Expert, Altenar’s Sportsbook Product Manager, Dinos Doxiadis extolled the virtues of its Bet Boost feature as “one of the most important tools” on its platform.
Designed to “put the power in the hands of operators” by allowing them to customise their own offers and trigger boosted odds, the feature has “seen huge adoption across all operators and all regions” according to Doxiadis.
Also present was Dinos Stranomitis, Chief Operating Officer at Altenar, and he spoke about the importance of Bet Boost from a customer retention and acquisition perspective.
He said: “BetBoost is about that we try to always consider how we give our customers a super tool that will give them the chance to go beyond the lines to make extra bonuses and to give extra winnings to customers.
“This tool is super configurable and everyone can run their own campaign. I think it is an amazing tool that everyone can use to go the extra mile in acquisition and retention.”
Stranomitis also noted the importance of Altenar’s recently released Ganagol tool.
Rather than betting on individual events, with Ganagol, known as Toto in some parts of the world, players pay an entry fee and attempt to predict the result of a series of football fixtures, with the greater number of correct results leading to a higher payout.
Stranomoitis explained that this format harks back to the sports betting habits of an older generation. As a result, the tool can “bring new blood to the classic sports world” and act as a “gateway for acquisition”.
A key theme throughout the interview, filmed at SBC Summit Lisbon, was innovation and the need to be constantly bringing “new things to the table”.
“If we didn’t keep innovating and didn’t keep improving our sportsbook, we wouldn’t be Altenar,” explained Doxiadis.
“During these years we’ve grown so much and we keep growing so it is a challenge for us to keep innovating. We’ve seen all these big companies in the industry that once they reach a certain point they stop innovating and they stop improving, but that’s not us.”
Stanomitis echoed this sentiment and added that Altenar is always “scanning the market and scanning the competition” to ensure that they are offering a wide range of features that “everyone can use in every market with all regulations and compliance”.
