FanDuel will serve as the official betting partner of a new indoor golf league backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports.

TGL presented by SoFi launches tonight (7 January) and will now be supported by FanDuel. As the official betting partner, the operator will offer wagering options across all matches and see live odds integrations feature throughout TGL’s broadcast, with further integrations expected on TGL’s website and mobile app.

The league comprises six teams of PGA Tour professionals, including McIlroy and Woods, that will compete in a season-long competition on a custom-built indoor golf studio at the SoFi Centre in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Karol Corcoran, Senior Vice President and General Manager of FanDuel Sportsbook, promised bettors that the brand will create “an engaging experience that brings fans closer to this exciting new golf experience” and added that it looks forward to creating “a robust offering of bet types for fans”.

Jason Langwell, Chief Revenue Officer at TMRW Sports, commented: “FanDuel is one of the most recognisable names in not only sports gambling but in all of sports.

“Adding them to our growing roster of partners underscores our commitment to excellence as we continue to build out our commercial program for TGL presented by SoFi.”

As well as wagering options and odds integrations, FanDuel will also sponsor TGL’s intermission segment between its Triples and Singles sessions. The FanDuel Intermission will include a recap of the first nine holes of ‘Triples’ and a preview of the upcoming six holes of ‘Singles’.

The league will be broadcast in the US on ESPN and ESPN+ and on Sky Sports in the UK, as well as with other prominent media partners around the globe.

Among the names competing in the inaugural competition include major championship winners Justin Thomas, Xander Shauffele and Colin Morikawa, as well as a strong British and Irish contingent of Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Rose and Shane Lowry.
