It’s been a busy 72 hours for Flutter Entertainment. The release of its much-anticipated Q2 results was overshadowed by news that long-time Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Peter Jackson will step down at the end of September, to be replaced by Dan Taylor, currently CEO of Flutter’s International division.
To anyone keeping up with Flutter’s recent form, the change will come as little surprise: Flutter’s stock is down around 70% year-on-year, as the gambling giant struggles to compete with prediction markets in the US.
