Crypto-gambling site Tether.bet shut down its operations following a wave of media scrutiny over its alleged links to an unlicensed gambling operation in the UK.

The Montenegro-based online betting site’s links to Reform UK‘s Nigel Farage also made headlines, with Farage associate George Cottrell heavily linked to the firm and to allegations it provided unlicensed gambling services to UK customers.
