Hacksaw Gaming has expanded its portfolio of slot titles as it releases its sequel to its cluster-based Cubes title with Cubes 2. 

Promising ‘more multipliers, more features’, and ‘more Colour Blast levels’ compared to its predecessor, Cubes 2 comes with a high volatility level and an RTP of 96. 33 per cent.

During the base game, each corner of the initial 5×5 grid contains an ‘X’. If a winning cluster is formed that contains one of the ‘X’ cubes, it will act as a multiplier and take on a number equivalent to the number of cubes within the winning cluster. The final win will be multiplied by the final multiplier shown.

If a winning cluster connects with multiple corner ‘X’ cubes, the multiplier figures shown will be added together before being multiplied with the win. 

In a statement released on its LinkedIn page Hacksaw Gaming stated that with CUBES 2 players can: “Expect a higher max win and more of everything! More multipliers, more features, more colour blast levels and even an updated soundtrack.”

The Free Spins feature is activated by the player obtaining five or more winning clusters in various colours which will light up the title’s logo. When in this round, the player will be granted mystery cubes, which are filled with colours or additional Free Spins, and once the colour cube is selected, the chosen colour will be sticky for the duration of the Free Spins. 

In this mode, the size of the grid does not decrease between Free Spins. All wins that are in the colour awarded on entry of the feature are sticky for the duration of the Free Spins. 

Players can activate the multi-colour Free Spin feature by getting all four corner multipliers in the same colour on an initial spin. Once activated, this will award between five to 10 Free Spins.

In addition this mode also comes with a mystery cube and all the colours collected within this round will be sticky for the duration of the Free Spins.
