Sean Molyneux and Simon Dyson united for another edition of the Betfred Golf Show, as the sport prepares for a stellar period of events.

Taking the spotlight was Calum Hill, with the pair heaping praise on the Scotsman, who captured the Cazoo Classic at the weekend, seeing off a strong field in the process.

Dyson commented on his victory, stating: “It will have given him a real big spur – doing so well last week and seeing his mate win as well. But, coming down the stretch, I think there were about five holes to go, I thought Donaldson was going to win it – he’s a proven winner, even though he hasn’t won for a while, he has won and all the guys had.

“These are good multiple winners he was up against, so to come through the pack and win like that, with a good final stretch, fair play to him – he’ll be absolutely made up.”

Molyneux added his belief that he can use the victory to kick on a build towards further accolades as his confidence grows.

The duo then looked ahead and dissected which will be some of the key factors in the upcoming golf calendar, as the PGA and European Tours approach rapidly on the horizon.
