In modern sport, and specifically combat sports, few personalities carry as much weight and spark as elevated interest as Tyson Fury.

The latest episode of Gary Neville’s Overlap, which is brought to viewers by Sky Bet – the WBC and Ring Magazine heavyweight champion kept with the show’s tradition and answered ten quick-fire questions.

As part of the sit-down discussion, Fury revealed Manchester as the city closest to his heart and also picked Muhammad Ali as his childhood hero.

It followed on from Fury’s discussion with Neville in which he responded to Anthony Joshua’s claims he would ‘smoke him’ as the man known as the Gypsy King battled back and claimed he ‘will defeat’ his fellow Brit when they eventually meet.

Fury also detailed his unique ‘obsession with time’ and living for the moment as he revealed he refrains from going back and watching any of his fights in order to ensure he lives for the moment.

Providing an insight into his journey, Fury also heaped praise on his wife Paris, who has stood by him through thick and thin, as he stated it is what has kept him going through all these years.

The interview comes following confirmation of the trilogy fight between Fury and Deontay Wilder, which will take place on 9 October in Las Vegas, in what is set to be the final chapter in the pair’s storied heavyweight rivalry.
