The NFL season kicked off with a bang last weekend which saw some notable results take place across the football league.
Defending champions the Los Angeles Rams were soundly beaten by one of this season’s favourites the Buffalo Bills, Aaron Rodgers’ Green Bay Packers were stunned in defeat to the Minnesota Vikings, and Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs were in great form in their season opener win against the Arizona Cardinals.
Heading into game week two, FanDuel has provided some ‘quick hits’ for bettors and fans of the NFL to observe in this week’s round of fixtures.
Starting off with the New Orleans Saints against Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Host Ali McCann favours the Saints at +2.5 as they defeated the Bucs in their last four meetings.
Saints wide receiver Mike Thomas is expected to return from injury and despite not being his brilliant best, Brady did start in the 19-3 win over the Dallas Cowboys last week, and Devin White shined with seven tackles and 2.0 sacks.
McCann takes under on the 40.0pts line for the New England Patriots Pittsburgh Steelers game, as Patriots quarterback Mac Jones is suffering from back spasms and Steelers quarterback Mitch Trubinsky claims his offense needs to be more aggressive.
Moving onto the Monday night game and McCann sides with the Philadelphia Eagles taking the win against the Minnesota Vikings. Despite the Vikings’ impressive defensive display against the Packers, McCann believes that not only will the Eagles win on Monday but also are her pick to win it all at the SuperBowl this season.
