Roobet, which is licensed in Curaçao, is active across various markets in the Americas and Oceania.
Anthony Brennan, Co-Founder and Head of Partnerships for Roobet, commented: “Roobet is excited to partner with Chelsea FC, and give Chelsea fans the opportunity to win money can’t buy experiences.
“Bringing the evolution of igaming to the world in partnership with Chelsea will continue to elevate the unique experience that Roobet offers to our players.”
Roobet will aim to leverage the reach of Chelsea’s fanbase in the region to build a ‘wide array’ of digital, social and logistical assets, while providing an opportunity to engage new audiences.
It will also offer its users match tickets and hospitality for fixtures at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge home and the chance to watch training at the club’s Cobham training ground.
First team players will also work with Roobet to create ‘bespoke’ content through the partnership.
“We are really pleased to welcome Roobet to the club as our Official Betting Partner and Regional Partner for Latin America and Canada,” added Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer for Chelsea FC.
“There is a huge passion for sport and entertainment across the 32 territories for the partnership, which gives the club and Roobet an incredible opportunity to drive significant growth and value through tailored content and exclusive offers for fans and users.”
Latin American focus
Roobet has not been the only operator that has enhanced its visibility in Latin America in recent times.
Earlier this month, Vbet marked the opening of Brazil’s regulated sports betting market by partnering with the country’s national champion, Botafogo.
The online sportsbook, owned by the Armenia-based technology group BetConstruct, will function as a front-of-shirt sponsor for both the men’s and women’s teams.
According to Vbet, the deal is the ‘largest commercial contract’ in the 130-year history of the three-time champions of the BrasileiroSérie A.
