Keith Whyte guest stars on the Global Gaming Business (GGB) Podcast to discuss some of the partnerships the National Council on Problem Gambling has in place, and how the organisation is making the most of its coveted collaborations.
Who is it?
Keith Whyte, Executive Director at the National Council on Problem Gambling
GGB – a division of Casino Connection International – is a monthly gaming trade publication focusing on the international casino industry, distributed to 14,000 industry executives around the world.
What is being said?
Discussing how the group can leverage its collaborations with operators, Whyte noted: “Often, it is our gambling partners that often help us convince those folks. We love our partnership model and it’s great when you can have a company like Entain, MGM or Caesars, to go to these other partners outside of the industry and say, ‘listen to what the National Council is saying’ and ‘we want you to do this because it’s good for us’.
“It’s really good to have that corporate support when we need it the most because they will listen to the gambling companies in a way that sometimes they’re not accustomed to listening to groups like the National Council.
“We’re lucky because we’ve got really good relationships within the gambling industry and we’re using that to our benefit to help us educate the non-gambling folks who are flooding into this space.”
