On the latest episode of iGaming Daily, Ted Menmuir, SBC’s Content Director, was joined by Suren Vardanyan, Chief Business Officer at Lynon – one of the latest players in the igaming technology space.
Reflecting on the establishment of the company, which aims to deliver true SaaS utilities for industry operators, Vardanyan explained that the team identified the importance of trust.
He said: “A team of friends have joined forces and [trusted] each other to build a new igaming platform.
“The idea with the brand was to trust each other and have something built with the SaaS approach in igaming. We figured that the most important thing someone looks for in an igaming partner is trust itself. The narrative is that each of us leaned on our teammates to build the product and we would like to do the same for our partners.”
One of the biggest challenges facing technical service providers such as Lynon is the myriad of regulations and specifications that differ across markets.
As a result, Vardanyan detailed, it is key that products exhibit flexibility to work for customers around the world.
On how this is achieved, Vardanyan said: “I would highlight two main factors, [firstly] the architecture is based on microservices and is very well thought out. It’s not broken down into smaller pieces than is required and it’s not one big piece where one error affects the whole system.”
He added that the modular system utilised by Lynon allows the company to implement changes without impacting anyone using the live product at the time.
Another key asset for Lynon is its delivery speed and Vardanyan outlined how the company’s marketing team sets the ambitious target of taking a customer live within 15 minutes.
Given such a tight turnaround time, Vardanyan stressed the importance of proper internal procedures, headed by a “correctly estimated product roadmap and healthy project management”.
To end the episode, the duo looked ahead to what people can expect to see from Lynon during ICE Barcelona.
“We have really cool offers and the first one I think is something nobody has done before,” enthused Vardanyan.
“We will have an auction of three ready websites. They are already live, the branding is done and the promotions and bonuses are set. The starting price for the whole suite is €499 and it’s going to be a live auction at our stand so everyone who hears us speak is invited. Nobody who is at [ICE] Barcelona should miss the chance because all you have to do is buy it with the best price and market it.”
