What is being said?

Rasmus Sojmark: “This year was a level playing field, every company is equal. You cannot go into a virtual event and spend hundreds of thousands putting up a bigger booth or whatever.

“Those things are impossible, if you embrace the opportunity of saying you are on the same level as any other sort of supplier out there, what can I do? What can I do to make me stand out with the budget I have, with the opportunities I have, with the virtual events at hand, what speaks to me? Do I want to speak? Do I want to put up my brand? Do I need a virtual booth? What kind of products am I preparing to present? How early am I doing the marketing, the PR for that event? Am I following up after the event? How am I reaching out to the people I met at the event?”

“I think that’s one thing that has been missed this year that people haven’t really understood that there is a lot of opportunity in a time of crisis here.”

“Build it and they will come, it’s kind of like that mentality has been around in the event industry for a long time and I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I think that’s going to continue once physical events are really back.”
