On February 20, Parimatch and LaLiga teamed up to help a Real Madrid fan propose during the match between Valladolid and Real Madrid.

The proposal appeared on the stadium’s LED screens as a running line that read: “Anya, marry me? – Aleksey.” Parimatch, the official betting partner of LaLiga in the CIS region, had proposed the idea to its client.

Taking place at Jose Zorrilla stadium in Valladolid, the proposal was broadcast to fans worldwide. Dozens of fans then joined the newly engaged couple in the bar for their celebration.

Expressing his gratitude, the fan stated: “Many thanks to Parimatch for the opportunity to propose in such an interesting way. It’s very cool, out of the ordinary.”

The fan was to have another success that night with the match ending with a 1-0 victory to Real Madrid.

Parimatch became the official betting partner of LaLiga in the CIS region back in October after signing a two-year partnership which includes the possibility of a one-year extension. All events organised by La Liga in the region will feature Parimatch branding, in line with local permission, while its marketing will feature in the away match for Atletico Madrid, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Parimatch also gained access to all La Liga logos, emblems, trademarks and image rights for seven active players which can be used across marketing materials. 

Two La Liga legends will feature in Parimatch PR and marketing events and will appear in Parimatch TV advertising campaigns for broadcast in the CIS region.

In the future, Parimatch will also have access to La Liga match tickets, which it will be able to offer as prizes and incentives for its players.
