College football was the focus on the latest episode of Barstool Sportsbook’s Pick Em show, with ‘El Pres’ Dave Portnoy lauding the performance of Michigan, as they defeated Ohio State. 

Portnoy cited the manner of the win as being key evidence that Michigan can challenge the runaway favourites Georgia for the National Championship this year.

‘I think they can beat anybody’, he stated as he elevated the prospects of Michigan glory come the end of the campaign.

Show anchor Rico Bosco added that he believes when it comes down to the final stretch ‘it is going to come down to defensive battles – gone are the days of the 48-45 games we have previously seen. 

Looking ahead to the upcoming gameweek 14, Big Cat revealed his mortal lock was Georgia handicapped, however, Portnoy picked Georgia but revealed he was slightly more tentative, given how tricky a trip to Alabama can be. 

The panel also reflected on the Barstool Sportsbook channel hitting 100k subscribers, looking at which shows have contributed the most to the achievement.
