Ahead of the Betfred Challenge Cup Semi-finals, Wigan Warriors Coach, Matty Peet spoke to Betfred about the significance of the occasion.

The Warriors collide with Saint Helens at Elland Road this weekend, in a tie they are slight underdogs for the muchly anticipated battle, which is live on BBC.

“Anyone who takes a job like this at a club of the stature of Wigan and with their history, your job is to get into these games and to win them and get the fans and the club the days they deserve ”, stated Peet, looking ahead to their tie.

Peet’s side come into the tie in stellar form having won their last five games, as they look to conclude the campaign in a successful fashion.

Furthermore, the Warriors also have a relatively clean injury list as they look to book their ticket in the final and overcome the odds.
