Continuing the operator’s expansive horse racing coverage, Betfair ambassador Paul Nicholls provided the latest edition of the Ditcheat Diary,  as he praised Rubaud’s impressive performance in Taunton.

Touting the horse as ‘improving fast’, Nicholls eyes a big run for him at Kempton on Boxing Day, as the busy period of racing takes hold.

Le Chiffre D’or’s performance in Doncaster on Sunday also won the plaudits of Nicholls, as he revealed that off the back of the pleasing performance, he is set for a relatively busy few weeks for the horse as the team look to continue momentum.

Nonetheless, Nicholls admitted that the weather has led to a frustrating period for him and his stable, specifically with Ascot looking doubtful this weekend, in what would have been a big opportunity for the trainer.

Conditions continue to hamper the plans for the decorated trainer, as he anticipates doubts in racing until the weather eases up.
