William Hill has launched its Safer Gambling Week campaign featuring a series of mini-clips from its sports ambassadors and sponsorship partnerships, which utilises its entire media and sponsorship portfolio.
As part of safer gambling week’s ‘core objective’ of broadening the conversation with customers and the wider public on gambling and its associated risks, the advert features Anthony Joshua, Robbie Savage and Tottenham Hotspur players Hugo Lloris and Matt Doherty.
Phil Walker, William Hill UK Managing Director, said “Our teams have once again delivered a really impactful Safer Gambling Week activation, and I would like to thank all our colleagues involved in bringing this important campaign together.
“We hope the general public will learn more about gambling safely – and remember you can join the conversation on social media by using the hashtag #SGWeek20.”
William Hill confirmed that its #SGWeek20 campaign would headline the bookmaker’s marketing inventory for November across its press, TV and social media channels.
As part of #SGWeek20 which runs from the 19-25 November the campaign will be shown across TV and William Hill Social Media channels as well as across its retail shop fronts, despite the national lockdown, as William Hill seeks maximum exposure for the cross-industry initiative.

William Hill shareholders have approved the recommended cash offer from Caesars by the requisite majorities, subject to the satisfaction of the remaining outstanding regulatory conditions and final approval of the English Court.
