Leading igaming software provider Altenar has unveiled its V2 sportsbook in a short video clip published on the firm’s official YouTube channel, emphasising some of the benefits of the platform.

The new sports betting platform, which is built on latest technologies, utilises a public and private cloud and geo-distributed application delivery network, as highlighted in the video animation.

Licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) and the Romanian National Gambling Office (ONJN), the platform provides an enhanced sports content offering via multiple official data arrangements, odds math models and margin management.

Furthermore, the platform also offers improved risk management to maximise clients’ profitability.

Speaking to SBC News in March, Altenar CEO Stanislav Silin, discussed the modernising of the firm’s software and the soft launch of V2 of the platform to a select quote of its partners in April 2020.

“I’m not saying this is going to be the platform we will stay on for the next 10 years,” said Silin. “But we’ve worked in certain additional modularity so that it is easier to migrate or expand to refresh the tech in a few years’ time.”

Discussing how the company maintains the V1 and V2 of the platform, he added: “It’s been like that for the past two years, and we’ve grown nonetheless,” he replied. “So we’re kind of used to it, investing in the new tech whilst maintaining the existing one. So it’s not a paradigm shift for our development teams.”
