Recent years magnified the importance of the payment journey for sports betting and gaming operators, with players demanding efficiency and safety in abundance when it comes to the user experience.

Mapping out how the firm is streamlining the cross border payments process, Lee Pelling, SVP of Sales at InPay emphasised ‘it’s our core offering’.

He stated: “We try and send money from local accounts, wherever possible, there are huge benefits for the operator and the player, who would receive full winnings rather than some of the intermediate banks taking a cut, so for us, really, it’s our USP.

“We take money in, in euros and then we look to offer that out from our local bank accounts to ensure the merchant is giving the best possible service to their player.”

Looking ahead to the coming year, he continued by revealing that they are enhancing their offering with a new deposit product, as the firm builds on the continued success of its platform, which has previously focused on payment winnings.

He also detailed that he feels that in the coming year there will be markets that grow significantly and that’s something the firm can build on, as it also continues the acceleration of its growth.
