Since retiring from football, former Republic of Ireland, Reading and Wolves striker Kevin Doyle has since journeyed into the world of racing.
Documenting his journey from the pitch to the paddock, Ladbrokes hosted the ex Premier League marksmen as he spoke to Irish champion Jockey, Paul Townsend.
As part of the feature, Doyle reveals his longstanding passion for the sport of racing and how venturing into it has long been a goal of his, he also detailed that at whatever club he was at, a day at the races formed an integral part of team bonding.
Furthermore, the mindset he applied when he was a player transcends to his attitude in racing as he is constantly striving for improvement and stepping his game up as he looks to maximise talents and potential.
Like Doyle, Townsend revealed that racing has been a key part of his life for as long as he can remember, he also shared insight into his strategy as he heads into a race and the collaboration he has with Willie Mulllins.
Looking ahead he mapped out his driving ambitions to capture a Champion Chase at Cheltenham this year.
