Ahead of this weekend’s Super Sunday collision, between the in-form European champions Chelsea and Manchester United, Gary Neville spoke to Frank Lampard as part of Sky Bet’s The Overlap.

Prior to the feature-length interview, the former full-back fired 29 quickfire questions to Chelsea’s all-time leading goalscorer, who revealed that the toughest player he played against was Andres Iniesta.

It was also against Barcelona that Lampard revealed he scored his best goal, as the Blues battled to a two-two draw at the Nou Camp in 2006.

He also detailed the advice that his wife gave him prior to taking the Derby job, a role he was tentative to take, as she told him ‘jump and the net will appear’.

Lampard had a relatively successful period at Pride Park before he took the Chelsea job and increased his legendary status at the club.

The Chelsea legend couldn’t resist a subtle dig at local rivals Spurs, revealing that it was nicknamed ‘three-point lane’, at Chelsea for a period, as he stated it was his favourite away ground to visit.

As he grows his status as a Manager, Lampard was also keen to praise Pep Guardiola, who he said offered him a special piece of advice and praise following his tough start to life in the Stamford Bridge dugout.
