Three races at Doncaster today are being sponsored by SBK including the inaugural SBK Gold Trophy 90 minutes before the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
The sportsbook app, created by Smarkets, has also boosted the prize money of the SBK Gold Trophy at Doncaster today which means it is now being named as ‘the richest class four jumps race for a decade’ – with a total prize fund of £25,000.
In a growing support for horse racing, the firm has also stated that all of its customers will earn a £10 free bet for the Cheltenham Gold Cup at 3.30pm if they place a £10 bet on the SBK Gold Trophy.
The sportsbook moved to bolster the range of content available to its customers through the new product, which now focuses on highlighting the app’s odds to provide “insights, betting ups, and previews.”
Smarkets spokesperson, Adam Baylis, commented: “We’re really enjoying doing lots more in racing and wanted to have a little bit of fun on one of the biggest racing days in the calendar with the inaugural running of the SBK Gold Trophy.
“We know the main focus is on Cheltenham but we saw this as a chance to be part of the conversation and it’s great to be able to offer a boosted prize pot away from the Festival.”
