BetVictor’s ‘Last Fan Standing’: Who is to blame for the poor start at Manchester United

After two game weeks have passed in the Premier League some have started better than most, but almost all clubs may find themselves in a better position than Manchester United as it stands.

After a 4-0 hammering from Brentford last Saturday, Erik ten Hag’s men have drew major criticism from their poor start to the season after amassing zero points from their first two games.

BetVictor’s latest episode of Last Fan Standing attempts to address who’s at fault for the poor start to the season and what United and ten Hag can do to reverse their fortunes.

United fan Adam McKola stresses the need to give the new manager time after due to it only being two games but Man City fan Buvey has a more scathing take, proclaiming that the fans need to hold their players more accountable and ten Hag too, claiming the Dutchman will need to adapt to the league or face an early sacking.

Round two of the debate show posed the question ‘are Tottenham Hotspur title challengers, or are they still bottlejobs?’.

Liverpool fan Paul Machin, highlights Tottenham fan’s Flav’s point of viewing draws as wins, believing Spurs fans should treat draws as defeats if they are contending for the Premier League title after drawing 2-2 at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea on Sunday.

Buvey highlighted Spurs striker Harry Kane’s pivotal opportunity that could sway the game in their favour, explaining that opportunities like those win you games towards a title push. But Flav retorted and explained Kane did score the 90th minute equaliser that secured a point for Tottenham.
