Hello and welcome to the SBC News 90, here’s today’s top stories:

Gaming software provider GAN is to acquire Malta-licensed operator ‘Coolbet’ for a total of €149 million Euros.

GAN will add Coolbet’s proprietary sportsbook platform to its B2B turnkey technology solution, with the integration to be completed by the second half of 2021.

The deal also sees GAN significantly expand its workforce, with 175 new employees joining its staff.

The Swedish gaming regulator has launched a new campaign to raise awareness of its self-exclusion scheme, Spelpaus.se.

The new campaign runs until mid-January, and will predominantly be visible via banners on a range of online platforms.

The regulator felt that further awareness of the self-exclusion scheme was necessary following the Coronavirus outbreak.

Gaming Innovation Group has added a new level of gamification to its portfolio after striking a deal to integrate player engagement tools from BlueRibbon.

The BlueRibbon functionality will support GiG in boosting player loyalty and increasing brand differentiation for platform partners worldwide.

The tools will be accompanied by additional features such as Jackpot tournaments, customised mini-games and widgets. These will enable GiG to improve the personalised experience for its clients and their players.

That’s all for today, I’ll be back tomorrow for your next SBC News 90.
