Entain has furthered diversity and inclusion initiatives, celebrating Pride Month with its latest video release entitled ‘Let Your Pride Show’.
Taking the form of a poem, the video looked back to a time when ‘being different’ meant ‘you lived in the shadows,’ celebrating how far society has come with regards to the inclusivity of the LGBTQ+ community.
Promoting Entain’s diversity policies of diversity, the video emphasised how many employees in modern businesses want to ‘work at a place that supports me loudly’.
“Celebrating Pride means promoting self-affirmation, dignity, equality and visibility of the LGBTQ+ community,” Entain disclosed.
“It’s all about being proud of who you are, no matter who you love. And at Entain, we value and respect individual differences, and want all of our people to have a voice and a place to belong.”
Entain is no stranger to promoting diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, having made a donation of $250,000 to Girls Who Code in celebration of International Women’s Day 2021.
The group’s Entain Foundation also made a $50,000 contribution to The Tech Girls Movement in Australia – an organisation that ‘aims to challenge gender perceptions which limit girls’ participation in STEM’ subjects.
In addition to promoting equality, the FTSE 250 group has also bolstered its social responsibility initiatives with a new green pledge, launching its #MakeTodayMatter campaign on 1 June.
