In the midst of a fascinating transfer window, largely due to the newly found spending power of Newcastle United, 888sport’s The Eye Test analysed where some of the key talents are located.

Host and avid Chelsea fan, Rory Jennings, pinpointed Brighton as having some of the key targets as he lauded Yves Bissouma as being a potential Champions League talent.

When it comes to Bissouma, ‘I just don’t know what he is not good at’ expressed Jennings, as he reflected on his role in Brighton’s draw at Stamford Bridge a few weeks ago.

The focus then shifted to Old Trafford, as Steven McInerney highlighted that somebody needs to take a chance on Jesse Lingard after his spell at West Ham last season, whilst United pundit Flex also held similar feelings about Donny van de Beek.

Another player whose career has stagnated is Dele Alli, with many tipping him for a move to St James Park, however the panel questioned whether he has the desire for a relegation battle.

The future of former Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, is also up for debate in this window, as the underperforming Gunner may look to reclaim his prowess in front of goal elsewhere.

Given the lucrative wages of the Gabon international, the panel agreed that his most likely destination is St James Park, a place where alongside Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson he can find his form once again.
