Ladbrokes Australia has launched a new nationwide advertising campaign ‘Mates Mode’, as the firm highlights its mobile app as the most fun and interactive device for Aussie sports fans to play on.

The new campaign devised by Sydney-based creative advertising agency The Monkeys, part of Accenture Interactive, forms part of the betting group’s ongoing Australia brand campaign ‘Ladbroke It Together’.

Mates Mode showcases Ladbrokes Australia as the first bookmaker to allow its punters to interact with each other in groups, whilst wagering on its mobile app as customers are allowed to chat, share tips and start separate betting pots with friends.

Set to ‘Thank You for Being a Friend’, the theme tune of the iconic sitcom The Golden Girls –  Ladbrokes Australia stated that it wanted to “showcase the fun, endearment and at times downright hilarity that comes with true mateship, because – pretty much anything and everything is more fun when you do it with mates”.
