Six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach Bill Belichick has been recruited for a new video series in partnership with Underdog Fantasy.

The former New England Patriots head Coach will feature in a new YouTube show, titled Coach, breaking down NFL film and analysing games weekly throughout the 2024 NFL season.

Introducing the show, Belichick said: “I want to find a connection to the fans where I give the fans what they’ve asked me for in terms of content. Behind the scenes information, decision-making that goes on within the organisation and a breakdown of schematics and personnel within the game.”

He added that he is “looking forward to working with Underdog”, a company he describes as a “sports company run by sports people”.

This is not the only media role that Belichick has secured since parting ways with the Patriots at the end of the last NFL season.

He has joined “Inside the NFL” as an analyst and will also appear on every ESPN Monday Night Football ManningCast.

Announcing the show on social media, Underdog said that it was “honoured” to partner with Coach Belichick on “one of the most impactful and fastest-growing sports media networks in the industry”.

“We’ve been building out our media network – which now has the fifth-largest daily sports show – and this is going to take us to another level,” explained Liz Marro, Chief Marketing Officer of Underdog Fantasy.

“We are talking about the greatest coach in the history of football, maybe any sport. He could have gone anywhere and he chose to come here to build his signature show because he sees what other smart people see: We are doing something different and better than others. We are just getting started.”

Tim Livingston will serve as executive producer for the show. His other credits include producing Gil’s Arena with Gilbert Arenas for Underdog and hosting the Whistleblower podcast breaking down the Tim Donaghy scandal.

The upcoming NFL season will be the first year that Underdog will offer both fantasy sports and sports betting.
