Ahead of a massive collision this weekend between Liverpool and Manchester City, the latest 888Sport Eye Test podcast put together a combined eleven from the top four Premier League clubs.

Debate arose immediately as Flex from the United Stand and Steven Mcinerney of Manchester City Fan Channel, Esteemed Kompany analysed whether Andrew Robertson or Luke Shaw should get the nod at left back.

In terms of the attacking players, debate spiked as Kevin De Bruyne and Paul Pogba fought over which player starts alongside Bruno Fernandes and N’Golo Kanté in the middle of the park.

The two key topics of the discussions came to the forefront as the panel moved to the frontline, with a debate over Phil Foden or Mason Mount playing left wing and Romelu Lukaku or Cristiano Ronaldo leading the line.

888Sport’s Eye Test podcast features some of the most recognisable voices in YouTube Football content and builds fan engagement with topical discussions from the sport.

This week’s episode comes off the back of Chelsea suffering their first defeat of the season at the hands of Manchester City, who prepare now for a clash with Liverpool – as battles between the top four enliven the appetite of Premier League fans.
