The Premier League currently hosts some of the most decorated managers in world football, as the 888sport panel comes together to analyse who is the current best? 

It was relatively conclusive that it came down to Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp, however, Rory Jennings was keen to praise Antonio Conte, who he lauded for his work in Italy and also at Stamford Bridge where he captured a league title and an FA Cup. 

Steven McInerney was also eager to issue plaudits, as he spoke waxed lyrical about Manchester City gaffer, Guardiola, who he believes will have a long-lasting legacy on the game. 

Interestingly, he also outlined his belief that the style of Guardiola has evolved how other managers approach the game, stating ‘Klopp doesn’t exist right now, without Guardiola, as the pressing that exists now is a reaction to Pep’s style of football. 

Newcastle fan, Alex Hurst pitched the case for the man to bring league title glory to Liverpool, Klopp, as he highlighted the resources he has had to work with and how he maximised the talents and potential of each player. 

Specifically, the panel pointed to Mo Salah and Sadio Mane as two players that Klopp has grown into two of the best in the world. 

Jennings did, however, state that a lack of silverware for Klopp compared to Guardiola means that he potentially falls behind slightly in the rankings.
