Paddy Power has paid out all outright bets on Celtic winning the Scottish Premiership (SPL) title after just one round of matches.
The company announced the news on social media following Rangers goalless draw with Hearts on Saturday and Celtic’s subsequent 4-0 victory over Kilmarnock a day later.

Sod it, we've seen enough already. We're paying out on Celtic to win the 2024/25 Scottish Premiership!#CelticFC pic.twitter.com/0LQw7SyEqy
On its website, Paddy Power said: “One game in and it’s job done for Brendan Rodgers and co. with another Scottish Premiership title secured. Yep, that’s right. The title is heading to Parkhead. Confirmed. Done Deal.
“Well, that’s according to us, anyway, as we’ve PAID OUT on all outright bets on Celtic winning the title after the first round of matches in the new season. With a two-point cushion in the bag, we’ve seen enough – Celtic are champions of Scotland for the 55th time.”
Celtic have won ten of the last 11 SPL titles, with Rangers sole triumph in recent times coming in the 2020/21 season under Steven Gerrard. Last season, Celtic won the league by eight points over their Old Firm rivals.
Jamie Redknapp investigates ahead of Premier League opener
Paddy Power called on well-known names like Danny Dyer and Peter Crouch for its extensive Euro 2024 coverage and the Irish-based firm has continued the trend heading into the new domestic football season.
In its latest advert, the operator has used Jamie Redknapp to help warn fans about the “absolute dangers who support more than one club team”.

During the four-minute video, the ex-footballer turned pundit can be seen travelling to different places in England, Scotland and Wales to speak to fans who claim to support two different football teams.
He meets a pair of Manchester United fans who also support St Pauli and PSG, as well as a Cardiff City and Villareal fan who, after speaking to Redknapp, is arrested by police.
Most controversially, he visits a fan of both Celtic and Rangers who claims that he got into a fight with himself after Celtic won last year’s SPL title.
