Who is it?

Former NBA Player and new CEO of C360 Technologies, Howard Wright. He played for the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, Atlanta Hawks, and Orlando Magic. He also played in the Continental Basketball Association for the Tri-City Chinook.

Wayne Kimmel is a sports tech venture capitalist, entrepreneur and author of Six Degrees of Wayne Kimmel. He is the Managing Partner of SeventySix Capital, the venture capital company he founded in 1999, and invests in startup sports tech, esports, and sports betting companies.

Howard Wright: “I’d met Commissioner Stern a handful of times and you’ve got to think he shook hands with 4,000 – 5,000 guys who could run and jump. I did not have a particularly close relationship with him in the early days and then at one of the Foursquare forums I reconnected with him about ten years ago.

“I had my name badge on as representing Qualcomm and he said ‘Howard Wright – Stanford!’ and I thought how has this man who was surrounded by some of the greatest players ever remember one of the most obscure players ever, which was me?”
